Contrive

You can find us over at 4-Kha-19 in Vigyan Nagar. Being in Kota, we see a lot of students and activity around here all the time. Our business, Contrive, has been running out of this Rajasthan location for a good while. It’s a basic setup. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just do the work that comes in. The neighborhood is mostly residential with some shops, so it’s a quiet enough place to get things done during the day. We have a small team here. We mostly deal with local projects. Sometimes we get stuff from further out, but Kota is our home base. The office is just a regular room with some tables and chairs. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see us buried in some sort of project or talking on the phone with a client. It gets quite hot here in the summer, but we’ve got the fans going. We started this because we wanted to do something for ourselves. It’s been a learning process. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just practical work. We’ve been in Vigyan Nagar long enough that we know the guys at the corner shops. It feels like a community. We just keep our heads down and work. There’s always another drawing to finish or another call to make.
