Champion Computer

Champion Computer is located right in the heart of Vigyan Nagar. It’s actually Vigyan Nagar twice in the address, which is just how the local mail seems to find us. The shop is mostly filled with half-assembled towers and boxes of motherboards that we might need someday. It’s a bit of a workshop vibe rather than a showroom. We spend most of our time hunched over desks with screwdrivers and soldering irons. The lighting isn't the best, but we have those desk lamps that we can move around. People from all over Vigyan Nagar bring their computers here when they start making weird noises or just won't boot up. We don't have a fancy front desk. You just walk in and usually find one of us elbow-deep in a machine. We don't have a uniform; we just wear whatever is comfortable for getting dusty. Sometimes the shop smells a bit like hot solder and old plastic. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water, which is a life-saver in the summer. We don't do much in the way of selling new stuff; we're more about fixing what people already have. It’s a decent living and the neighbors are all pretty good people. We don't have a website or any social media pages. If someone needs us, they usually just walk in or call the landline. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business and we like it that way. We just keep going.
