About Brijraj Tea Stall – Food & Beverages in Kota
We are right here in Shakti Nagar on Kundanpur Road, just a short walk from the Sangod bus stand. My father started this small spot because people always need a hot drink while waiting for their bus or after a long ride. It’s not a big fancy place, just a simple stall where the stove stays lit from early morning until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent boiling milk and crushing fresh ginger. You’ll usually see a crowd of locals and travelers standing around, chatting about the weather or the news. The street can get pretty noisy with all the buses pulling in and out, but that’s just how it is around here. We don't have much furniture, just a couple of benches if they aren't already taken. The tea is strong and we make sure there's enough sugar for those who need a bit of energy. Sometimes we run out of snacks by the afternoon if it's been a busy day. It’s a lot of work standing by the heat all day, especially in the summer months, but we are used to it by now. People know us by the smell of the tea leaves brewing. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets their glass quickly so they don't miss their transport. It's a simple life running a tea stall near the bus stand in Sangod and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood routine.
