Ansari Tea

Our place, Ansari Tea, is located right near the Old Dharam Kanta in Hanuman Nagar, just off Kota Road. It’s easy to find if you know where the old scales are. We have been here for a good number of years now, just handling tea business every day. The area is usually busy with people moving back and forth on Kota Road. Our shop isn’t very large, but we manage to keep a lot of stock inside. We mostly have bags of tea piled up and a small desk where we do the paperwork. It’s a bit of a dusty area because of the main road nearby, so we are always cleaning off the counters. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the tea varieties by heart. We don't use any fancy machines or computers much, just simple scales and ledgers. Sometimes the weather gets really hot in the summer, and we just sit under the fan waiting for the next person to stop by. People around Hanuman Nagar know us well enough by now. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the business going like we always have. It’s a quiet life for the most part, despite being so close to the main road. We just keep our heads down and work. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head home, ready to do the same thing tomorrow morning.
