The office for Aimk Information Providers Private Limited is on the first floor of Plot No. 24 on Jhalawar Road. We are right by the Bank of Baroda, which is the best way to find us if you are in the area. Being on the first floor means we have to walk up a flight of stairs every day, but it helps put a little distance between us and the busy street outside. Jhalawar Road is always full of cars and people going to the bank, so there is constant movement just outside the door. Inside, the setup is very simple. We have desks lined up against the walls and a lot of folders stacked up because our work involves a lot of record-keeping. It’s not a modern-looking office with glass walls or anything like that. We just have basic wooden furniture and some chairs that have seen better days. The floor is a little worn down in the spots where we sit. We spend most of our hours on the phone or looking through data. Sometimes the traffic noise from the road gets a little loud, but we’ve mostly learned to tune it out. There is a small water cooler in the corner and a clock that ticks quite loudly when the room is quiet. We are just a local team doing our thing as information providers. We come in, do what needs to be done, and head home when the day is over. It’s a very practical, no-frills kind of workplace for us.
