Vedanta Resources & Plc.(At Balco)

Our office is in Mukul-Villa, over in R.P. Nagar, Phase-1. We are right near the Niharika area in Korba. This is where the Vedanta Resources & Plc team for Balco is based. It’s more of a residential-feeling area compared to a big factory, which is a nice change of pace. The address is easy enough to find if you know the local landmarks. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have quite a few people and lots of files everywhere. It’s not the most modern setup you’ve ever seen. The furniture is a bit older and the paint could probably use a fresh coat in a few spots. We’ve got a small kitchen area where everyone gathers for lunch. It’s a very local atmosphere. Most of the talk around here is about local news or the latest project at the plant. We don’t have a big PR team or anything. It's just us answering phones and keeping track of the Balco operations. The humidity in Chhattisgarh can be a lot, so the fans are always running. We like being in this part of town because it feels more like a community. It’s a busy house turned into a workspace, and it works for what we need. Nothing too complicated or fancy about it. We have a small garden area in the front that’s a bit overgrown, but it adds a little green. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we can hardly hear.
