Retired Executive Engineer Pensioner

I'm over here at 502, Akash Towers in the Urwa-Chilimbi area of Mangalore. It’s a decent place, pretty quiet most of the time unless the traffic on the main road gets loud. Being a Retired Executive Engineer Pensioner means my days are a lot slower now than they used to be when I was out on sites every day. I’ve spent years dealing with technical stuff and managing projects, but these days I mostly just keep track of my own things from home. Mangalore is home, and it’s where I’ve settled into this post-work life. People sometimes ask what an executive engineer does once they retire, and mostly, it's just about enjoying the peace. I've seen a lot of changes in the city over the years. Akash Towers is a solid building, and being on the fifth floor gives a bit of a view, though nothing too fancy. It’s just a regular life now. I don't really have a big team or a company anymore, it’s just me and my history in engineering. I think about the old projects sometimes when I’m walking around Urwa, but mostly I’m just a pensioner like many others in this part of town. It’s a good spot to be for this stage of things and I'm happy enough here.
