Global Stones

We are way out in Hoolageri Village, specifically at Plot No. 129/2 in the Kushtagi area. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but we like the space we have. Working with stone out in the village is different than being in the city because there is more room to breathe, though the wind can get pretty strong across the open land. We mostly handle raw stones and blocks that come from the nearby areas. Most of the guys working here are from around the village, so we all know each other well. It’s a bit of a community feel even when we are doing the hard work of cutting and loading. We don't have fancy paved roads inside the yard, just dirt and gravel that gets kicked up when the machinery is running. The sun is pretty brutal in the middle of the day so we usually take a long break when it’s at its hottest. We keep a lot of stock piled up because you never know what someone might need next week. It isn't a high-tech operation with robots or anything, just some old-fashioned equipment and a lot of manual labor. We drink a lot of tea while we sit near the gate and wait for the next load to arrive. It is quiet out here most of the time except for the sound of the saws or the trucks. We just do our work and go home to our families when the sun sets.
