The Grand Bhagwati,Ahamadabad

Our place is The Grand Bhagwati, Ahamadabad, but we are actually operating out of Kollam, Kerala. It might seem a bit confusing with the name, but this is where we are based. The address is 691016 in the southern part of India. We spend our days managing the various aspects of the hotel business from here. Kerala is a beautiful place, but it keeps us busy with the humidity and the maintenance. We are just a group of people trying to keep everything running smoothly. There is no big corporate office here, just a functional space with some desks, some old files, and a lot of coffee being drunk. We talk to guests on the phone and try to figure out their travel plans. It’s mostly about logistics and making sure the supplies arrive on time. We don't really bother with big speeches or trying to sound important. We just wake up, come to the office, and deal with whatever comes up that day. Sometimes it's a plumbing issue, other times it's a booking mistake we have to fix. The local neighborhood is quiet and we like it that way. Most of the people working here live just a few streets away, so we are all neighbors. It is a very practical way to run things. We focus on the small details because those are the things that actually matter to the people staying with us. That is basically all there is to it.
