Sana Flour Mill

Sana Flour Mill is located on K.T. Road, and we are pretty easy to find since we are right near the Ganpathi Temple here in Adoor. Being so close to the temple means there is always a lot of foot traffic and the sound of bells in the morning. We are a small operation, mostly just grinding down whatever the local families bring to us. It is dusty work, and you can usually see a trail of flour leading out the door. The machines are old but they still do the job if you treat them right and oil them when they start to squeak. Some days the queue gets long and people have to wait their turn under the shade outside. We try to move as fast as we can, but you can't rush the stones or the flour gets too hot. Adoor is a busy town, and we feel right in the middle of it all on this road. We don't have any big slogans or anything, we just show up, open the shutters, and start the motors. Sometimes we run out of bags or a belt breaks, and we have to scramble to get things fixed before the next person arrives. It is just a regular life of manual labor, and we are used to the grind by now, quite literally. Most people know us by face, and we like it that way.
