We are located at the Greenvalley Multitheme Park in Parakode, which is over in the Adoor area of Pathanamthitta. The postal code is 691554. We run Mavis Resorts and Entertainment from right inside the park grounds. It’s a big area to manage, and it keeps us on our feet all day long. We aren't some distant owners sitting in an office in another town. We are here every day. I’m usually walking around checking the rides or talking to the staff about the plants in the gardens. We have a lot of grass that needs cutting and it seems like it never ends during the rainy season. It’s a lot of work, especially when the weather is hot and humid for weeks. We get a lot of families visiting on the weekends, so those are definitely our busiest times. During the week, it’s a bit quieter and we use that time to fix things that broke or to paint the wooden benches. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing the sign and coming in to see what we have. The resort rooms are part of the park, so we have to make sure the guests are comfortable. It’s a lot of coordinating between the kitchen staff and the room cleaners. We aren't perfect, but we do the work ourselves every day. It is a busy and practical life here.
