Kollam Cashew Processors Association

The Kollam Cashew Processors Association is located over in the Mangadu area, specifically in Perinad. We operate out of Kettidathil Veedu, which is where Muhammed Shafi stays. If you know the Chandanathope P.O. area, we are not far from there. Being in Kollam, cashews are a huge part of everyone's life, and our association is just a way for the local processors to have a central point to connect. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy furniture or receptionists. It’s more of a place where people meet up and talk about the industry and the problems we all face every day. There’s a lot of talk about prices, labor, and the quality of the raw nuts coming in from different places. Most of the work involves keeping track of members and trying to help out when someone has an issue with their processing unit. It’s a bit of a community thing really. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around a table discussing things that matter to the business. The house at Kettidathil Veedu is a quiet spot, and it serves as our base for all these activities. It's a very local vibe, and we like it that way. We don't need anything more than a place to sit and some files to keep things organized for the association. It is just a group of people in the 691014 area working together to keep the cashew business going and help each other out.
