Karate School Thekkumbhagom (Mr Sudheesh)

Our karate school is located in the Thekkumbhagom area of Kollam. It’s specifically on the road that goes from the Panchayat office towards Madathimukku. Mr. Sudheesh is usually the one you’ll see there, managing everything and leading the sessions. It isn’t a massive sports complex or anything like that. It’s more of a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to learn. The building is simple, and we spend a lot of time keeping the floor clean for the students. In the evenings, you can hear the shouts and the sound of feet hitting the mats from quite a distance away. Thekkumbhagom is a close-knit place, so most of the kids who come here live just a few streets away. Their parents often stand outside talking while they wait for the class to finish. We don't have air conditioning, so we just leave the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes from the coast. Sometimes it gets a bit humid, but that's just part of the training. We have a few old trophies on a shelf and some photos of past groups on the walls. It’s a practical space. We don't spend money on shiny signs or big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about Mr. Sudheesh from a neighbor. It’s just a regular part of the daily life here in this corner of Kollam, keeping people active and busy.
