Astrad International Institute For Professional Development Private Limited is based in the Puthekulathu Building. It’s located in Koonamkara P.O., which is part of the Pathanamthitta district. Pathanamthitta is a quiet place compared to the coastal cities, and we like the pace of life here. Our office is in a building that’s been around for a while. It’s got that lived-in feel to it. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We’re more concerned with the people who come in for training. We help folks develop their professional skills, mostly people who are looking to get better jobs or change their careers. It’s a lot of one-on-one talk and practical advice. We don't have a big staff, so if you call, you’re usually talking to one of the people who actually runs the place. We do our own filing and handle our own schedules. It can get a bit overwhelming when we have a lot of people signed up at once, but we make it work. Most of our students come from the local towns and villages around Koonamkara. We know the struggles people face when they’re trying to move up in their jobs, so we try to be as practical as possible. We don’t promise miracles; we just give people some tools they can use. It’s honest work, and we’re happy to be doing it here in our own little corner of Pathanamthitta. We usually lock up around six.
