We have been running things from this office on Chapal Road for quite some time now. It’s located in Flat 2B and 4B. This part of Kolkata has a specific rhythm to it, especially being so close to the older parts of the city. Our office isn't anything fancy or something you would see in a magazine. It’s just a place where we sit down and handle the daily grind of the development business. There are stacks of folders everywhere and the desks have seen better days. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, it’s just one of us picking up the line while trying to look at a blueprint at the same time. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people going about their business, and that noise leaks into our rooms. We’ve got some old fans that hum all day long to keep the heat away. It gets really humid here, especially in the summer months, but we just get used to it. People from the neighborhood sometimes pop in to ask about local projects or just to say hello. We don't have a grand mission statement posted on the wall. We just show up every morning, drink our tea, and try to get the construction schedules sorted out for the week. It’s a simple setup for a business that’s been around the block a few times. We like being in 700 022.
