Writerminds Private Limited is located at A-3 on the second floor of 12/3A Dakshin Para Road. It’s in the 700063 area of Kolkata. It’s a writing business, so as you can imagine, there’s a lot of typing going on throughout the day. The office is pretty small, and we’ve crammed quite a few desks in there. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open even if it means we hear every car horn from the road. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or a designer lobby. It’s just a place to sit and write. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take turns trying to fix it. We aren't big on corporate rules or anything like that. We just talk to each other and try to stay on top of the deadlines. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we don't go down for breaks as often as we might like. We mostly just bring our own lunches and eat at our desks. It’s a quiet enough spot when we aren't all talking at once. We like being on Dakshin Para Road. It feels like a real neighborhood, not some sterile office park. We just focus on the words and try to keep things moving along. It’s a simple life and a simple office space for our small team.
