Wit By Bit Private Limited is located in Sector V of Salt Lake, specifically inside the Merlin Infinite building. We are up on the 8th floor in Unit 811 on Plot 51. Being in Salt Lake means we are right in the heart of the IT hub here in Kolkata. It is a busy place to be every day. The building is quite big, so we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the elevators, especially when everyone is arriving in the morning or leaving for lunch. Once we are inside Unit 811, we mostly just focus on our computers. We are a small team, despite being in such a large building. We have a pretty good view of the city from the 8th floor, which is nice when you have been staring at code for several hours and need a break. The office is usually filled with the sound of clicking keyboards. We do not really have a big formal boardroom. We usually just huddle around someone’s desk if we need to talk about a project. Sector V moves fast, and we just try to keep up with our part of it. It is a lot of technical work done bit by bit. Sometimes we stay late when a big deadline is coming up and the whole building gets quiet. We are just trying to do good work from our spot in Salt Lake and then head home to our families.
