Wisemine Software Solution Private Limited is based at P1 Taratala Road in Kolkata. If you have ever been to Taratala, you know it is a pretty industrial and busy part of the city. There are always trucks moving and lots of activity going on outside. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. It is not a shiny new tower, but it is a solid place for us to write our code and manage software stuff. Inside, it is basically just rows of computers and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. We do not really care about the polished corporate look because that is not really who we are. We are just regular people who happen to be good at solving software problems. Some days the work is a bit slow, but most of the time we are rushing to finish a project or fixing a bug that someone just found. The commute to Taratala can be a headache with all the traffic, but we are used to it. We usually grab lunch from one of the small stalls nearby or just eat together at our desks. It is a very grounded atmosphere here without any fancy titles or long, boring meetings. We just talk across the room to each other to figure things out. It is a practical way to run a business. We stay here because the location works for us and we know the area.
