Our office is located at 6A on the first floor of Clive Row. It’s an interesting part of town because Clive Row has its own very specific atmosphere. The building has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the windows are shaped and the thickness of the walls. It stays surprisingly cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. We chose the first floor because it’s just one flight of steps, which is easy for everyone. The space itself is basic. We’ve got our desks lined up, and there’s a small corner where we keep the bags and lunch boxes. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating because we’re usually too busy with the screens in front of us. You can hear the calls of street vendors and the occasional car horn from down below. It’s a lived-in kind of place. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we’re always wiping down the tables. We like being in Clive Row because it feels central without being in one of those soul-less new business parks. There’s a lot of movement in this building, with different people coming and going from the other units. We just keep our door open for the breeze and focus on the day’s work. It’s a practical setup for a small team like ours, nothing more and nothing less.
