Wikiance Private Limited is tucked away in Flat No 2B 1, on the second floor of a building in Sahid Colony, Kolkata. It is more of a residential spot than a big corporate park, so you get that local neighborhood feeling as soon as you walk in. The stairs are a bit narrow, but it’s a good way to wake up in the morning. Inside the flat, we have set up our workspace with enough desks for the small team we have. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. Living and working in Sahid Colony means we are close to all the small shops and the local market. We usually just bring our lunch from home or grab something quick from around the corner. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; it’s just a group of us sitting in a flat doing our daily tasks. The walls have a few posters, and there’s usually a pile of papers on the corner desk that needs sorting. We don't have any fancy signage outside, just the name and the flat number. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the ceiling fans and the occasional horn from the street below. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
