Vishal Stores

If you ever walk down CIT Road in Kankurgachi, you might have passed by Vishal Stores at P125. We’ve been at this same spot for years. It’s a busy street with lots of people walking by all the time. We see the same faces every morning when people are heading to work. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. It can get a bit cramped when we have a few customers at once, but nobody seems to mind. We don't have a fancy display or bright neon lights. Just a regular storefront where we sell what people need. My father started this place, and I’ve been running it since I finished school. Kankurgachi has changed a lot, with new malls and big stores opening up nearby. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. People come here because they know we’re always around. We don't have a website or a social media page. We just open the shutters at eight and close them when it’s late. Sometimes we have a little stool outside where we sit and watch the traffic go by. It’s a noisy part of town, but we’re used to it. The shelves are always full and we try to keep things organized. It’s a simple city business. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. Just a local shop on a busy road.
