We are based on the 4th floor of number 9 Crooked Lane in the Esplanade area. If you’ve ever walked down Crooked Lane, you know it lives up to its name. It’s one of those narrow, old-fashioned streets in the heart of Kolkata. Being on the 4th floor means we get a bit of a view of the rooftops around us, but it also means a lot of stairs if the lift is acting up, which happens from time to time. The building is quite old and has a lot of history in its walls. We have our head office set up here, and while it’s not a huge space, it’s enough for what we need. Esplanade is always humming with energy, and you can feel that even up on the 4th floor. There are always people shouting, horns honking, and the general sound of the city. Inside, we just have our desks, some filing cabinets, and the computers we use all day. It’s a bit crowded sometimes, especially when we have a lot of paperwork to go through. We don't try to make the place look like a showroom. It’s a working office, plain and simple. We like the grit and the reality of being in this part of town. It keeps us grounded and focused on the tasks at hand. There is a small tea stall at the corner where we usually go when we need a break from the phones. It helps us clear our heads before getting back to the lists.
