Vikas Computers

We’ve been here at 227/1b on AJC Bose Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot near Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani, and if you know this part of town, you know how the traffic gets. Most days it’s just us fixing screens or trying to figure out why a motherboard gave up. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just a workspace filled with tools and parts. People drop by when their laptops acting up or they need a specific cable they can't find elsewhere. The air conditioning works most of the time, but when it doesn't, we just open the door and deal with the street noise. It’s loud out there. We handle a lot of different brands, mostly because that's what people bring in. Sometimes we have to tell someone their machine isn't worth fixing, which is never fun to say. My desk is usually covered in screws and loose wires. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to get the work done so people can get back to their lives. If you are walking down AJC Bose Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a regular shop doing regular work for Vikas Computers. We spend a lot of time on the phone tracking down spare parts from suppliers across the city. It’s just honest work.
