Being on the 5th floor of the New Market AC building on Gariahat Road means we hear a lot of the Kolkata traffic down below. It’s a busy spot in Ballygunge, and getting to work usually involves pushing through the crowds at the market. Our office at 46/31/1 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and a couple of chairs for visitors. We’ve been here in Kolkata for a bit now, and the 700029 area feels like home. The lift is sometimes slow, so some of us just take the stairs to the fifth floor to save time. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and some light chatter. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door so people know they’ve found the right spot. Working in such a crowded part of West Bengal has its ups and downs, but it keeps things interesting. You never know who you’ll run into downstairs during the tea break. We just try to get the work done and head home before the evening rush gets too bad. It’s a practical setup for what we do. No one wears suits here, just regular clothes that are comfortable for a long day at the office. We’re just a small group of people doing our bit in the city.
