We've been over here at Todi Chamber on Lal Bazar Street for a while now. It’s on the 4th floor, suite 409. If you know the area, it's always busy downstairs. Mostly we just deal with the tea shipments and all the paperwork. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we usually just wait it out or take the stairs if we're in a hurry. With Ushasree Tea Pvt. Ltd., our days are spent talking to growers and making sure the crates get where they need to go. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular office with desks and plenty of samples lying around. People come in and out, mostly folks we've known for years in the trade. We drink a lot of tea ourselves, naturally. You get used to the noise from the street after a while. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just show up, handle the orders, and go home. Some days are busier than others, especially when a new batch comes in from the gardens. We try to keep things organized but with all the samples and logs, it gets a bit cluttered. It's a decent place to work though, and we've been in this suite long enough that it feels like home. Our team is small, just a few of us who have been here forever. We don't really do the whole corporate hierarchy thing. Everyone just chips in where they can. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We aren't trying to win any awards for our office decor, that's for sure.
