Url Associates operates out of the Aparna Apartments on Baishnabghata Road. It is actually a flat, specifically 2F, where Saikat Basu and the rest of the team handle the daily paperwork and meetings. Being in a residential building means it is pretty quiet most of the time, which helps when we need to concentrate. We have been in this part of Kolkata for a few years now. The building is easy to spot once you get onto Baishnabghata Road, near where Col. Dr. R. N. Basu stays. It is not like those big glass office buildings in the city center. We like it here because it feels more personal. Sometimes the lift in the apartment is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs to the second floor. Our space is just a regular office setup with desks, some computers, and a lot of files. We do our best to stay organized, though sometimes things get a bit messy when we have a big project going on. Most of our work involves local clients who know where to find us. If you are coming by, you just have to tell the gate security you are going to the second floor. It is a nice neighborhood with plenty of trees around. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a doorbell and a desk. It works for what we do. The balcony has a few plants that we try to water every morning.
