Touch Point

Touch Point is located at Ca 13, Rail Pukur Road. We are pretty close to the AC Market and the United Club in Kolkata. The area is usually quite busy with people shopping or going to the club. Our shop is just a small unit on the road. We have been here for a while. It’s a simple setup. We have the usual chairs and mirrors. Nothing special about the furniture. We mostly get people from the nearby houses. Some of them have been coming since we first started. We do haircuts and shaves, mostly. Sometimes someone wants something different, but we usually stick to what we know. The 700059 area has changed a lot over the years, but the shop stays mostly the same. We have a small radio that plays songs in the background. It helps pass the time when it’s quiet. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the regulars. We know who likes their hair short and who wants to keep it long. It’s a lot of standing all day, so my legs get tired. But it is good to have a place where people feel okay to just sit and wait. We aren't a big corporation. We are just two guys trying to earn a living in this part of town. If you walk past the United Club, you’ll probably see our door. It is just a small business on a busy street.
