Decode Technologies

Our place is at No. 5/7 Netaji Nagar in Tollygung. It is a quiet enough street, though the main road is not far off. Decode Technologies is basically just a few of us in a room filled with screens and a lot of tangled power strips. We do not have a big sign outside or a lobby with a fountain. It is a working office where we spend our hours typing away and trying to figure out why things are not loading properly. Tollygung has a certain feel to it, and we like being tucked away in Netaji Nagar. The neighbors are mostly families and small shops. Sometimes we take our laptops to the porch when it is not too hot. We do not follow a strict corporate schedule. If the work needs doing, we stay late; if it is quiet, we might head out early to beat the traffic. There is always a box of half-used cables in the corner that nobody wants to sort through. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone we deal with. It is a small operation, so you always know who you are talking to. We do not use much jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just enjoy the challenge of the tech stuff and having a steady place to work every morning.
