We’re set up at 129 Shyamnagar. It's a busy part of the city, and the noise from the street usually drifts up into the rooms throughout the day. The building itself is a solid, older place that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We occupy a section of it where we keep all our things organized as best as we can. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see, but it works for what we need. Every morning starts with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of the nearby food stalls starting their day. We have a small kitchen area where we brew our own coffee because the stuff from the machine isn't great. Most of the time, the office is a mess of papers and boxes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we haven't found a permanent spot for everything yet. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or the furniture matching. As long as the internet is working and the fans are spinning, we are basically good to go. The people working here are mostly locals who know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic on the way home. It’s a very direct environment. We talk to each other across the room instead of sending emails all the time. It feels more like a small workshop than a big operation, which suits our style perfectly.
