The Moran Tea Co. (India) Ltd.

We’ve been here at 5B, Sarojini Naidu Sarani for quite a while now. Most people know this area as Rawdon Street, and it’s usually busy with cars and people walking by. At The Moran Tea Co. (India) Ltd., we spend our days dealing with everything that goes into getting tea from the estates to where it needs to go. It’s not always glamorous work, honestly. There is a lot of paperwork and phone calls that keep us busy from morning until evening. The office gets a bit noisy sometimes when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather isn't helping or shipments get delayed for one reason or another. We don't really have a fancy showroom or anything like that here. It's just a regular office where we get things done. You can see the old buildings around us, which reminds us how long businesses have been running in this part of town. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. It’s a lot of coordination between different people and places. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of Rawdon Street over the years. It feels right being here. We aren't trying to do anything crazy, just running the tea business the way we know how. It’s steady work and keeps us on our toes most of the time.
