The Ellenbarric Tea Co. Limited

Up on the 8th floor of the Shantiniketan Building, you’ll find us in Room No. 10. We are at 8 Camac Street, which is a fairly well-known spot in this part of the city. The Ellenbarric Tea Co. Limited has been operating out of this office for a long time. It’s a bit of a ride up in the elevator, and sometimes you have to wait a while if it’s the morning rush. Once you’re in our room, it’s usually quiet, away from the street noise below. We have a lot of samples sitting around on the tables. Little tins and jars of different grades of tea. We spend our time checking these, writing reports, and keeping track of the estates. It’s more of an administrative place than a shop. The windows give us a decent view of the rooftops, but we’re usually too busy with the ledgers to look out much. We aren't a high-pressure office. We just take our time to get the details right. The furniture is a bit dated, maybe from the eighties, but it’s sturdy and does the job. Camac Street is always busy, so it’s nice to have this little space on the 8th floor where we can just focus. We’ve got our routine, from the morning mail to the late afternoon tea, and it works for us. It is just a regular office where we do our part every day.
