The Arya Tea Company Limited

Our office for The Arya Tea Company Limited is up on the 4th floor at No. 37 Shakespeare Sarani. It’s quite a trek if the elevator isn't feeling up to it, which happens more than we’d like. Shakespeare Sarani is always packed with cars and people shouting, but up here on the fourth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We deal with a lot of paperwork and administrative tasks. Tea is a slow business sometimes. You wait for shipments, you wait for news from the gardens. It’s not like those modern tech offices you see on TV with beanbags and free snacks. We have heavy wooden cupboards and stacks of ledgers that have been around for years. Everyone has their own way of doing things, and we don't really have big meetings or presentations. We just talk across the desks or catch up in the hallway. Sometimes we bring in some biscuits to share. It’s a decent enough place to spend the day. The view from the window isn't much to look at, just more buildings and the tops of cars down below. We’ve been here long enough that the scuffs on the walls feel familiar. We aren't doing anything flashy or trying to impress anyone. Just the usual day-to-day operations. Some days are long, and some are short. We just make sure everything is logged properly. It’s just us, The Arya Tea Company Limited, trying to keep things organized.
