If you walk down Bidhan Sarani in Kolkata, you’ll find us at 62/1. Textify Technology (Opc) Private Limited is basically just a small operation running out of this space. North Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. The street outside is always full of people, and there are so many shops selling all sorts of things nearby. It makes the walk to the office interesting every morning. We don't have a giant sign or a fancy lobby. It is just a doorway and some stairs. We spend our time working on various technology projects, mostly just sitting at our laptops and trying to figure things out. The room gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have some fans and a small AC unit that does its best. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and what they’re working on. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule, but we get the work done. Lunch usually comes from one of the local stalls because the food around here is actually pretty good and cheap. We’ve got some shelves filled with old manuals and papers that we should probably clear out one day. It’s a functional space. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just need a place to plug in our computers and focus on our tasks until it is time to go.
