Technical Assistant

We are tucked away at 6B Friends Row in Santoshpur, which is part of the Jadavpur East area in Kolkata. It’s a residential pocket mostly, so we get a lot of locals coming in with their home setups and personal computers. We’ve been working out of this space for some time. It’s not one of those shiny stores you see in the malls. It’s more of a practical workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. We deal with the usual technical glitches that drive people crazy. Sometimes it’s a slow internet connection, other times it’s a hardware failure. We just take it as it comes. Kolkata can be a bit humid, which isn't great for electronics, so we see a lot of wear and tear. We aren't trying to build an empire here. We just like solving problems and keeping things running. Most of the time, it’s just us and a few cups of tea while we work through the repairs. Friends Row is a nice spot, easy enough to find if you know the area. We don't use big words or try to sell you stuff you don't need. If we can help, we will. People seem to appreciate that we’re just around the corner when things go wrong. It’s a steady pace and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
