Techedge Technologies

Techedge Technologies is located in Gillander House. It’s a historic building at 8 N.S. Road. We are on the third floor in Block E, Room 6B. The building has these massive wooden doors and a lobby that feels like it’s from another century. Our office is a mix of that old style and some modern computers we brought in. It’s a bit of a weird contrast. N.S. Road is incredibly hectic during the day. There are people everywhere and the sound of horns never really stops. Up here on the third floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a small balcony where we keep some dead plants that we keep forgetting to water. The office inside is mostly desks and a lot of tangled wires under the floor. We do a lot of software and tech work, so we are usually glued to our seats. There are four of us who share the space. We have a small microwave for heating up lunch, but it smells like burnt popcorn half the time. The elevator is quite small and only fits three people comfortably, so we often wait for it. It’s an interesting place to work. You can see the old architecture in the moldings on the ceiling. We don't really have a reception area, just a desk near the door where whoever is closest answers the knock. It is just how we operate.
