Tea Trading Corporation India Ltd.

Our place is at Plot No.- 7 on Wood Street. It’s not far from the Kali Mandir, so there are always flower sellers and people walking around near our entrance. Wood Street is a decent place to be, though it gets quite congested during the morning rush. The building is fairly old and the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying anything heavy. We have a simple setup for the trading business, mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of paperwork. There are plenty of tea samples sitting in small tins on the sideboards. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room, you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. The walls are covered in old maps and calendars that we haven’t changed in years. It’s a bit of a messy environment but we know where everything is. The smell of the temple incense often drifts into the office when the wind is right. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure the trucks are on schedule. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong, like a late shipment or a broken crate. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a place where we come to work every day. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
