You can find us at Fc-112 in Salt Lake City, right in Sector- Iii. This part of Kolkata, the 700 106 area, is where Tata Consultancy Services has this particular office. It is a busy part of the city with lots of other companies around. Our building is a solid structure where a lot of people come to work every day. It’s not just a place for meetings; it’s where the actual coding and consulting happen. We have rows of desks and plenty of computers. The atmosphere is usually focused, though you will hear plenty of chatting during lunch breaks. We don't spend much time on fancy slogans or trying to sound more important than we are. We just have a lot of work to do and we stay busy doing it. The Salt Lake area is pretty well-planned, so getting to the office isn't too hard for most of the staff. We see the same faces every day and we have our routines. It is a big operation, but when you are inside, it just feels like a bunch of people working on their specific tasks. We use the local shops for our snacks and coffee. It’s just a normal workplace in a well-known part of town. We’ve been here for a while and we are just part of the local landscape now. It works for us. We just keep going.
