Being located at P4 on the New Howrah Bridge Approach Road means there’s never a quiet moment. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get. We’re right there in the middle of it all. Tasty Tea Co. is just a simple place where we handle our daily work. There’s always dust from the road and the sound of horns, but we’ve gotten used to it. The bridge is right there, so we see thousands of people passing by every single day. Most don’t stop, but those who do are usually looking for a quick break from the commute. Our space isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with boxes and the smell of tea leaves. We open up early because that’s when the first wave of trucks and commuters starts moving. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult on the approach road, and we have to move stuff inside quickly so nothing gets damp. It’s a bit of a scramble. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of tea. The address is straightforward, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you aren't careful. We just focus on getting the orders out to people who need them. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the bustle near the bridge. It feels like we’re right at the heart of things.
