Systems & Solutions is tucked away at 14A/2, Royd Street. It’s right in the Taltala area, which is pretty close to Park Street. We’ve been in this office for a good number of years. It’s not a large place. Most of the room is taken up by desks, computers, and a lot of tangled cables. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come in, you’ll probably see one of us hunched over a desk. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people shouting, but we’ve gotten used to the background noise. We handle all sorts of technical things. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea from the stall at the corner. Other days are a complete mess and we’re working late into the night to finish something. We don't have a marketing guy or anyone to write descriptions for us. We just rely on the work we do. If we do a good job, people come back. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long. The Taltala area has its own vibe, and we feel like we’re a part of it now. We’ve seen many other shops open and close on Royd Street over the years. We’re just happy to still be here doing our thing. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours and we take it seriously without being too stiff about it.
