System & Software

System & Software is located on Kapalitola Lane. We are up on the first floor of building number 1. If you've ever been down Kapalitola Lane, you know it’s a bit narrow and tucked away. It has that old-school feel to it. Our office is a simple one where we focus on various software and systems tasks. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and you’re there. The room is usually filled with the sound of typing and the hum of a few computers. We’ve been working from this spot for some time now. The light comes in through the windows in the afternoon, which is nice, but it can get a bit warm. We keep a fan going most of the time. The lane outside is always interesting to watch if you need a break from the screen. People are always coming and going. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture or decor because it doesn’t really help the software get written any faster. It’s just a workplace for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the technical stuff. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just tucked away here in our little corner of the first floor.
