We are over on Canal South Road in Kolkata, specifically at number 29 in the Kol-15 district. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s a part of the city that always feels like it is moving. Syntech Informatics has been in this building for a while now. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to cram enough desks and equipment in to make it work for us. The air conditioning is a bit temperamental, so some days it is freezing and other days we are all sweating over our keyboards. It’s just one of those things you deal with in an old city like this. We handle a lot of data and tech stuff, but we aren't the type of people to use big words just to sound smart. Usually, it's just us talking over the noise of the traffic outside. There’s a tea stall right near the entrance that we visit probably more than we should. The paperwork is stacked on shelves that are starting to sag a little, and the floor is a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the years. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We just do the work, send out the bills, and come back the next morning to do it again.
