Swastik Industrial & Mill Stores is up on the 3rd floor of 36 Strand Road. Specifically, we’re in Room No.- 15. Being on the third floor means a lot of trips up and down, but you get used to it. Strand Road is always a busy place, with a lot of movement and noise from the street below. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building itself has a lot of history. It’s not one of those new, shiny glass buildings. It’s a bit old-fashioned, with narrow hallways and a lot of character. We keep our stock here, and it can get a bit crowded with all the mill supplies and industrial parts we have to keep on hand. Sometimes finding a specific part takes a minute, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple operation. We talk to a lot of different people who come in looking for things they can’t find elsewhere. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly word of mouth and people knowing where we are. We just open up in the morning, handle the orders, and talk to the regulars. It’s a steady kind of life. Dealing with industrial stores isn’t flashy, but it’s necessary work, and we’re glad to be a part of the Strand Road community. The elevator breaks down occasionally, which is a pain, but we just take the stairs and keep on moving.
