Monty Construction

Monty Construction is based out of a small place at 24 Vivekananda Nagar in the Regent Park area. It’s the kind of neighborhood where most people know each other’s names. We use the front room as an office and the back area for storing some of our smaller tools and general supplies. There’s usually a bit of dust around the place because of the nature of the work we do. We spend a lot of our time out at different job sites, so the office isn't always full of people. When we are actually here, we’re mostly checking on schedules or talking to our suppliers on the phone. The walls are covered with some old maps and a few photos of projects we finished years ago. It’s a very simple and basic setup. We have a couple of wooden chairs for visitors and a desk that’s clearly seen a lot of use over the years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep things from being too quiet. Regent Park is a nice place to be located for us. It’s not too far from everything we need to get to. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything like that to show off. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or nearby who just know where we are located. We like the local feel of the street and the people around here. We’ve been doing it this way for a long time without much fuss.
