If you’re looking for Kumar Engineering Company, you’ll find us on the first floor of Plot No.27 over on Weston Street. We’re in Room 102. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot for us. Weston Street can be quite a hub of activity depending on the time of day. We’ve been set up in this room for a while now. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a focused space where the engineering work happens. There’s usually a lot of paper on the desks and the sound of things being measured or discussed. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the door if someone knocks. We spend most of our hours looking at drawings or figuring out technical bits. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we manage. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though we’re mostly looking at our work. It’s a solid building and we feel settled here. People come to us because they know where Weston Street is and they know we are usually here. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering stuff that needs doing. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living, and we’re okay with that. It works for us and the people who visit.
