Susrut Eye Hospital

Our spot here in Sector III of Salt Lake City has been around for a good bit. If you know the HB block, we’re at 36/A/1. It’s a quiet area mostly, which is nice for a hospital because it doesn't get too hectic with noise. We deal with eyes, so we spend a lot of time looking at charts and making sure the lights are just right. The building has a few floors and we’re always running up and down the stairs. Sometimes the lift acts up, but we get it fixed. Most mornings we get people coming in early before they head to work, or students from the nearby schools needing their first pair of glasses. I spend a lot of time sitting at the front desk or checking the equipment in the back rooms. It’s a steady kind of life. We’ve got a few doctors who’ve been with us since the start, and we all know how each other takes their coffee. Salt Lake is laid out in a way that makes it easy to find us once you’re in the right section. We try to keep the place organized, though paperwork has a way of piling up on the desks by Friday. You won't find anything too fancy here, just a solid place where we look after people's vision. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows, but we have some curtains that do the job.
