Durga Catarar

Durga Catarar is located on N S Road in Rajpur. We have been here for a while, just doing our thing in this corner of the neighborhood. It is a simple setup, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We mostly spend our time in the back where all the heavy lifting happens. Rajpur is a good place to be, it has a bit of a slower pace than the main city which we appreciate. The kitchen stays pretty busy throughout the week. We do not really use much in the way of high-tech equipment, preferring to do things the way we were taught years ago. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it is raining hard on N S Road, but we keep going. There are usually three or four of us working at any given time. We get our ingredients from the local markets nearby because it is easier that way. Our days start before the sun comes up most of the time. We do not spend money on big signs or marketing stuff because we think the work should speak for itself. It is a bit noisy in the kitchen when the big burners are going. We just try to do an honest job every day. If you walk by, you will likely see us unloading crates or cleaning up. It is just a normal local business trying to make its way in the world.
