Suneco Tech Ventures Private Limited is over at the Royal Exchange on Netaji Subhas Road. It’s one of those old buildings in Kolkata that has a lot of history in the walls. Number 6 is where we spend our days. The ceilings are high and it feels a bit grand, even if our own office is just a normal workspace. Being in the 700001 zip code means it’s always busy outside. You can hear the traffic and the people all day. We aren't a massive operation. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We don't have a lobby with a waterfall or anything like that. Just some desks, laptops, and a lot of power cables running along the floor. It can get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Most of our work happens on the screens anyway. It’s a good spot to be, right in the heart of things, even if the building is a bit drafty in the winter. We like the character of the place. It feels like we are part of the city’s story. There’s no corporate talk here, just regular conversations about work and life. We just do our bit and go home. It is what it is, and it suits our style.
