Das Infotech

Das Infotech is located over at 34M Subhas Nagar Road, which is right in the Dum Dum Cantt area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets quite busy around the station. We’ve been set up here for some time now, mostly handling the technical stuff that people around here need. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, computers, and a lot of tea cups that we forget to wash right away. We do a lot of coding and fixing things that break on people’s systems. It gets noisy outside when the trains go by or when there is a festival on the street, but we just keep our heads down. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just how things go in this part of town. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to get the work done so we can go home to our families in the evening. Most of our days are spent staring at monitors and trying to find errors in lines of text that most people wouldn't care about. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It feels like a real place where people actually work hard without making a big deal of it and it stays like that.
