Our office for Sts Medical Supply Corporation is at 11A/3 Sunny Park, right in the Ballygunge area. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of old trees and some beautiful houses around us. We aren't a hospital or a clinic; we mostly handle the supplies that those places need. The space is often filled with cardboard boxes and packing tape. You’ll usually hear the sound of someone checking an inventory list or loading a delivery van out front. Ballygunge can get quite congested with traffic, so we have to plan our supply runs carefully to avoid getting stuck for hours. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and shelves of medical gear. It isn’t the kind of place where you’d find fancy decorations. We just need the space to stay organized so we know where everything is. The staff spends a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors or checking on orders. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, which is a real tragedy on a busy Tuesday morning. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other people working in the building. It’s a straightforward business. We move supplies from one place to another and try to keep our records straight. It’s a lot of logistical work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most days are just a cycle of shipments coming in and going back out to different hospitals.
