Straina

Straina is located on VIP Road, over in Deshbandhunagar. If you know the area, you know how much traffic passes through here every single hour. We’re at number 21/3473. It’s a good spot, even if the noise from the cars never really stops. We opened this place to provide the basic stuff the local families need without them having to travel too far. It’s a mix of different things on our shelves. We’ve got household supplies, some stationery, and the usual pantry staples. I spend a lot of time just moving boxes around to make space for new deliveries. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. Most of our customers are from the residential blocks nearby. They come in after work, looking a bit tired, and we try to get them their stuff fast so they can go home. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Kolkata, just a reliable one for this specific street. On Sunday mornings, it’s a bit quieter, and we can actually hear ourselves think. We enjoy the routine of it all. It’s just us, the shop, and the people of Deshbandhunagar. No big corporate plans or anything, just keeping the shelves full and the door open for whoever walks in. It’s just a normal shop for normal people.
